I beat the game multiple times on pain mode and for no reason the boomerang still breaks the game is on pain mode

I recently got into the game and, while the wiki has been an invaluable source, the ending page in its original state left a lot to be desired. I've been trying to expand the work done by the initial authors and editors, and slowly chipping away at it, but it might help to get more people involved. Thank you

It was working just fine before i changed to my notebook(the notebook i was using before was weaker than the one i am using right now so i do not know what the deal is).
